I often have several paintings underway in the studio at any time and you can see some of them in the work in progress pages of the website. Here is one of the pieces I am working on just now, a watercolour of otters sliding in the snow. I will soon be uploading some new photos to show the painting process as it develops from field sketches, through drawings and the basic under-painting, to the last pieces of detail which complete the finished picture. Below you will see the process in a painting of turnstones I finished a couple of years ago.
